The German Children Hospice Association

As the cooperation between the “German Children Hospice Association” now is official, here are some basic infos about the association.The „Deutsche Kinderhospicverein e.V.“ (“German Children Hospice Association”) was founded in 1190 by six families, whose children suffered from incurable, life-shortening diseases. The association works nationwide and attends the whole family from the moment the child is diagnosed. In doing this both the child as well as the parents and the siblings.

To help the affected families, the association relies on a network of such families, with contacts in several places in Germany, to aid the families in supporting each other. Another focus is to take care of the families’ interests and insuring the quality of care – both ambulant and stationary.
